Women of the Vine Ministry

Women of the Vine (WOTV) formerly the Women’s Guild is a group that welcomes women of all ages and stages of life.  We endeavor to sow the seeds of faith to everyone in our parish. We meet monthly in the morning of the 3rd Saturday of the month in the Barn.

WotV supports Our Lady of the Mountains by lending a helping hand with Lenten Suppers and other Parish gatherings.  Social events are planned throughout the year as a group and with other parish ministries. We offer opportunities to deepen one’s faith through prayer, outreach and planned retreats.

In addition to our Parish community, we support local charities and organizations such as the pregnancy center with fundraisers.  We love to see new faces at our gatherings and welcome your ideas to help the women of the parish grow in faith.

Hospitality Ministry

The Hospitality Ministry members are the introduction to our Church community and present a smile for our Parish.  It is our mission to welcome everyone entering the church and provide help as needed. We are here to give you a tour of our parish buildings (appointments upon request). The tall desk located on the left in the Narthex as you enter from outside, is where we register new parishioners, assign offertory envelopes or online giving, arrange Mass intentions or have Sanctuary Candles lit for friends and family. This ministry also works as a branch of the Women of the Vine for various welcoming duties. If you are 18 or older and are interested in becoming a member of the Hospitality Ministry, please email your name, telephone number and the Mass time you prefer to wotv@olmjasper.org, and we will be happy to arrange for a training session. This is a great way to meet your fellow parishioners. COME JOIN US!

Please reach out to wov@olmjasper.org  or more information or drop in to one of our Saturday meetings.
